2b | Will you ignore me forever?
2c | How long will you hide your face from me?

3a | How long will I make (futile) plans?

4b | Give light to my eyes,
4c | lest I sleep in death,
5a | lest my enemy say, ‘I have overpowered him!’
5b | (lest) my adversaries rejoice because I am shaken.
6a | But I have put my trust in your loyalty.
6b | Let my heart rejoice because of your salvation!
6c | I will sing to YHWH,
6d | because he has repaid me!
