Who We Are

Scriptura started with a small group of Hebrew scholars and Bible translation experts who were passionate about making God’s Word accessible to the global church. Today, we are a team of more than twenty people who love studying Scripture, encountering God through it, and helping others do the same—so they too can see God in His Word.

What We Do

Scriptura equips Bible translators with scholarly resources, tools, and training to overcome the difficulty of translating Hebrew poetry, preserving the accuracy and beauty of the Psalms so that all people can experience God’s Word in their own language—and see God for themselves in Scripture.

Translating the poetic language of the Bible is challenging. Poetry isn’t just about words—it speaks to the heart and stirs the soul.

We take on this challenge by carefully studying both the language and the emotions behind the text. Then, we refine our findings into practical tools for Bible translators, helping them capture the poetic beauty of the Psalms. Our goal is to ensure accuracy—linguistic, poetic, and emotional—so that every people group can experience the depth and beauty of Scripture in their own language and culture.

Mission/Vision

We provide visual and accessible resources of scholarly quality that enable the global church to engage with Scripture.

By equipping people to see God for themselves when they read Scripture, we believe we can help by making exegesis accessible and available to all.
