A psalm.
שִׁ֤ירוּ לַֽיהוָ֨ה שִׁ֣יר חָ֭דָשׁ
1b
Sing to YHWH a new song,
כִּֽי־נִפְלָא֣וֹת עָשָׂ֑ה
1c
for he has done wonderful deeds.
הוֹשִֽׁיעָה־לּ֥וֹ יְ֝מִינ֗וֹ וּזְר֥וֹעַ קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃
1d
His right hand and his holy arm have won for himself a victory.
הוֹדִ֣יעַ יְ֭הוָה יְשׁוּעָת֑וֹ
2a
YHWH has made known his victory;
לְעֵינֵ֥י הַ֝גּוֹיִ֗ם גִּלָּ֥ה צִדְקָתֽוֹ׃
2b
He has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
זָ֘כַ֤ר חַסְדּ֨וֹ וֶֽאֱֽמוּנָתוֹ֮ לְבֵ֪ית יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל
3a
He has remembered his loyalty and his faithfulness for the sake of the household of Israel.
רָא֥וּ כָל־אַפְסֵי־אָ֑רֶץ אֵ֝֗ת יְשׁוּעַ֥ת אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
3b
All the ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.
הָרִ֣יעוּ לַֽ֭יהוָה כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ
4a
All the earth, shout to YHWH!
פִּצְח֖וּ וְרַנְּנ֣וּ וְזַמֵּֽרוּ׃
4b
Burst into song, cry aloud, and sing!
זַמְּר֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה בְּכִנּ֑וֹר
5a
Sing to YHWH with the lute,
בְּ֝כִנּ֗וֹר וְק֣וֹל זִמְרָֽה׃
5b
with the lute and the sound of music!
בַּ֭חֲצֹ֣צְרוֹת וְק֣וֹל שׁוֹפָ֑ר
6a
With trumpets and the sound of the horn trumpet,
הָ֝רִ֗יעוּ לִפְנֵ֤י ׀ הַמֶּ֬לֶךְ יְהוָֽה׃
6b
Shout before YHWH, the king!
יִרְעַ֣ם הַ֭יָּם וּמְלֹא֑וֹ
7a
Let the sea and its fulness roar!
תֵּ֝בֵ֗ל וְיֹ֣שְׁבֵי בָֽהּ׃
7b
And [let] the land and those who dwell in it [roar]!
נְהָר֥וֹת יִמְחֲאוּ־כָ֑ף
8a
Let the rivers clap their hands!
יַ֝֗חַד הָרִ֥ים יְרַנֵּֽנוּ׃
8b
Let the mountains cry aloud together
לִֽפְֽנֵי־יְהוָ֗ה כִּ֥י בָא֮ לִשְׁפֹּ֪ט הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ
9a
before YHWH! For he is coming to judge the earth.
יִשְׁפֹּֽט־תֵּבֵ֥ל בְּצֶ֑דֶק
9b
He will judge the land with righteousness;
וְ֝עַמִּ֗ים בְּמֵישָׁרִֽים׃
9c
and [he will judge] the peoples with equity.
